About Ikoi
"Ikoi" (いこい) It’s a Japanese word that means “relaxation” or “leisure.” It refers to the act of slowing down or unwinding, often in a calm and peaceful environment. It can also describe a place or activity where one relaxes or spends free time, such as a park, a spa, a holiday destination… or CROCHET!

About the Artisan
Hello! I’m Sofia, the creator behind Ikoi Crochet.
My journey began at the age of 11 with my grandmother, but it was during my Master’s in 3D Animation that I rediscovered this passion. The name Ikoi, inspired by the Japanese word for relaxation, perfectly reflects the essence of my work: each piece is crafted with dedication and mindfulness.
Passionate about amigurumi and minimalist patterns, I have also been exploring garment making, with a special fondness for balloon-sleeve jackets. Here, every creation is a celebration of craftsmanship, where beauty and serenity meet in every stitch.
